We may not be able to travel right now, but that doesn't mean we’ve stopped dreaming of where to go next. To stay inspired, some of us have turned to social media’s wanderlust-inducing imagery or wistfully scrolled through our own camera rolls to reminisce on past travel. Some of us have even discussed summer trips over Zoom happy hours or lost themselves in a riveting adventure film.See how these Piloteers are staying inspired amid these unprecedented times.

Chloe Edwards, Senior Account Coordinator

Screen Pilot’s own energizer-bunny, Chloe has her fingers crossed to embark on the incredible Machu Picchu hike at the start of summer. To keep her spirits high, she’s created a “travel wish list,” which includes destination goals like conquering local Colorado hikes and taking an international tour to visit friends living all over the world. But on a normal day, catch Chloe (if you can) shredding down snow-covered slopes in her bright blue unicorn onesie.

Arielle Rubenstein, Social Media Manager

Arielle is a jeopardy guru and impressive ultra-marathoner, who doesn’t just run 50K races on the reg but also runs Screen Pilot’s entire Social Media Team. To stay inspired, find her scrolling deep into Departures’ Instagram scheming up a multitude of ideas for her next travel itinerary. "I was fortunate to sneak in one last trip in early March and we went to Merida, Mexico. This photo [pictured below] was taken at the ruins of Uxmal, an ancient Mayan city that was built around 900 AD."

Valerie Erwin, Account Executive

With so much wanderlust top of mind, places aren’t the only thing we’re missing. Valerie, Screen Piloteer by day, committed fitness instructor by night, and Colorado Buffs-enthusiast around the clock, reflects on a recent trip to her hometown of Greenville, South Carolina. There, she spent quality time with her family (pictured below with Erwin, her grandfather, and her mother). Valerie writes, “This time has been a constant reminder that I am grateful for travel, above all other reasons, because of how it keeps us all connected with the ones we love.”

Screen Piloteers are just like all of you—hopeful and eager for the day we can safely take off to destinations unknown. Whether you’re aching to explore a new city, disappear into the mountains in a national park, meander through Grecian alleyways and zen Japanese temples, or even just head home to Florida to see family, we hope we can support you through this one feeling, if nothing else: inspiration.
